ONGOING TRAININGS


Comm. College course for laid-off workers. Community is offering a program free of charge to people that were recently laid off permanently or indefinitely from a full time position (non-seasonal) from 9/1/07 through 9/1/09 no fault of their own. Those interested must submit proof that they were laid-off…documentation must be on company stationery from former employer. Parenting Classes for troubled children. Saturdays 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. and Thursday 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Classes are free. Located on 1801 Vine Street. (Thursdays) Special help to anyone in Philadelphia who is raising children (particularly over the age of 5). The classes are facilitated by experienced staff from Juvenile Probation and DHS. Managing Your Money Better

Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Meehan Conference Room at 5:30 p.m. by the Center for Literacy.
